I am a Professor of Economics and Dean: Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences at Stellenbosch University. I am also an Honorary Professor of Economics at the University of Cape Town.

I work with colleagues to advance excellent teaching and research, support student success, and strengthen the contribution of economic and management sciences to society.

This website brings together my academic work, perspectives on university leadership, and selected resources for students and colleagues. I welcome opportunities to connect Stellenbosch University with partners across Africa and internationally.
